The artist, having qualified with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts specializing in Painting, has embarked on a journey that delves into the realms of Graphics and Print-Making. Her exploration into these mediums began during her undergraduate studies, where she developed a keen interest in the possibilities offered by Print-Making. The process of Print-Making, with its inherent shock element, intrigued her and drove her to experiment with various techniques within the medium.
Through her practices at Garhi Studio, Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi, she honed her skills and delved deeper into the nuances of Graphics. She found that certain qualities of different graphic mediums resonated with her emotive interests, prompting her to synthesize the medium with her personal expression. This synthesis led her to pursue a master's degree in Print-Making from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Gujarat, further enriching her understanding and proficiency in the field.
Her artistic journey has seen national and international recognition, including prestigious awards such as the 1st Print Biennial India Award 2018 and the South Asian Young Printmakers Award. Her works often explore various feminine instincts within the confines of a single space, weaving together a visual narrative that establishes an autobiographical relationship between the protagonist, often representing the soul of a woman, and the daily life objects that surround her. This deep attachment between the protagonist and her environment forms the crux of her visual articulation.
Central to her artistic vision is the investigation of human emotional states, which are depicted through diverse situations and experiences. By amalgamating subjects with materials that evolve over time and space, she captures the multiple dimensions of emotional states, offering viewers a rich tapestry of introspection and contemplation through her genre of works.
