His engagement with art is rooted in the belief that creativity emerges from an intimate relationship between nature, consciousness, and lived experience. While formal education provides the grammar and discipline of art, he views artistic identity as a manifestation of inner sensitivity and spiritual awareness. For him, art is not merely a visual practice but a process of self-discovery through which nature expresses itself.

He holds an M.Phil. from Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University and a Ph.D. in Visual Arts from Mangalayatan University, Aligarh (2012). Alongside his academic career, he has maintained an active artistic practice spanning more than two decades.

His work explores the subtle dimensions of perception, spirituality, and human consciousness, creating visual narratives that emerge from introspection and a deep engagement with nature. He has participated extensively in national and international exhibitions, art camps, workshops, lectures, and demonstrations, while also contributing significantly to art research and scholarship through numerous publications on art and culture.

Among his notable recognitions are the Lalit Kala Akademi Award (2019), the Junior Fellowship from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India (2017–18), and the State Lalit Kala Akademi Scholarship, Lucknow (2008–09). His artworks are part of important public and private collections, including those of Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi, the Ministry of Culture, Lucknow, and Art View Gallery, New Delhi.

Through his artistic, academic, and research pursuits, he continues to foster a meaningful dialogue between tradition, spirituality, nature, and contemporary visual culture.
