Raka Panda, born in 1990, an artist of repute from West Bengal, has based her work on human place and situation. She has picked up abundantly from daily life and portrayed it on the canvas with much finesse. Her work 'Passengers' is also based on incidents picked from daily lives. The different characters are recognizable by the unique colour she has used. Hence, they can be distinguished but the congested place shows that they are in an individual space.

Everyone has a purpose and a destination; the journey is not simple but enriching at the same time. She aims to portray simple things from a different perspective and her canvas is as wide as it can get.
