Madan Lal, an artist from Chandigarh, has a unique way of capturing the essence of life through his art. Over the years, he has held more than 150 exhibitions in India and abroad, earning recognition as a talented and dedicated artist. His style has evolved beautifully—from using soft, soothing pastels to bold, vibrant colors that reflect the connection between people and the modern world around them.
He has showcased his work in 25 solo exhibitions at some of India’s top galleries, including Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai, Punjab Kala Bhawan in Chandigarh, Triveni Kala Sangam and Art Indus Gallery in New Delhi, and Art Folio in Chandigarh. Each show highlights his creativity and his deep understanding of human emotions and experiences.
Madan Lal’s art has also reached international audiences. His paintings have been displayed at the World Dubai Art Fair, POSK Gallery in London, Birla Academy in Kolkata, Asian Art Gallery in the USA, and exhibitions in Sweden and the Nehru Centre in London.
He has taken part in many art camps and workshops around the world, including in Sweden, Bosnia, Egypt, Turkey, Macedonia, and Dubai. These experiences have added depth and variety to his work. Over the years, he has received several honors, including the National Award, Punjab Kala Sanman, Amrita Sher-Gill Sanman, and the Senior Fellowship from CCRT.
Today, Madan Lal’s artworks are admired by art lovers everywhere and can be found in collections across India, the UK, Germany, the USA, and France. Through his art and online presence, he continues to inspire and connect with people all over the world.
