Nazima Rangwala Kalita is an artist deeply inspired by the unconventional. She delves into topics that are different and holds a pragmatic preoccupation with material reality along with the old realism. Her attempt towards work has always been to go through the stage of distortion, which actually attacks the viewer’s nervous system and stirs the emotions. It tells him or her something about a world, which was largely ignored. Almost all of her works are marked by a distinct ambiguity.
