Every individual, including Tanya Gupta, shares an innate connection with their biological mother. During the pandemic, Tanya meticulously observed her mother, noting subtle shifts in behaviour and mood. Tanya began recording her shifting gestures in response to her varying moods and associated them with 'Rasa' by employing distinct hues corresponding to her emotions. Tanya likened this connection to crafting a bouquet from different flowers, each representing a unique aspect of her life. Upon entering Kala Bhavan, Tanya explored broader themes of motherhood and gender roles. Through her art, she seeks to illuminate the multifaceted experiences of women, from housewives to working mothers, shedding light on societal pressures that constrain their aspirations.
