Born in Bhopal ,MP, in 1990, the joint third prize winner Suchita Rai, has been working at the Bharat Bhawan from the past two years. He work has been deeply inspired by nature in all its aspects. She is also into pottery, sculpturing and leaf-work. Suchita made her first sculpture based on global warming in a bid to make people aware of how they can save our world.

Nature has been her guiding force and she has portrayed it in all its magnificent forms while maintaining the delicate balance between creativity and reality. Her Ghanti collection finds a proud place inside the tribal museum in Bhopal.
